Field Service Technician

AppleTree Staffing is looking for a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our client's team in Johnson County.

They now supply pumps, conduct repairs, and offer a range of imaging services to support businesses in various industries. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze work orders and plan daily travel schedules to serve existing accounts, including investigating and resolving complaints, conducting tests, and solving problems.
• Study system requirements to establish service, order necessary components and parts, complete installations, and perform acceptance tests.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing complaints, identifying solutions, and suggesting improvements to methods and techniques.
• Keep personal equipment operational by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and arranging repairs when needed. Document service and installation actions thoroughly by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and build trust by ensuring service information remains private.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
• Utilize your expertise as a Service Technician to provide technical support for various point-of-sale systems in diverse locations.
• Demonstrate a passion for electronics, IT, and digital sales, bringing a unique blend of technical skills and customer-centric focus.
• Be a key contributor to our team's success by leveraging your knowledge of Veriphone systems, where we are the leading trainer in the industry.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Service Technician, ideally with exposure to point-of-sale systems.
• Passion for electronics, IT, and digital sales, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry.
• Familiarity with Veriphone systems, or a quick learner willing to become the leading expert in our training program.
• Ability to think analytically and troubleshoot
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
