Early Victim Engagement Manager
Full-Time Position
Harbor House is seeking an experienced, dynamic individual to be responsible for the programming, operation, administration and staffing of the Harbor House of Central Florida Early Victim Engagement and Court Services programs. Works closely with partners in the criminal justice system to identify survivors of domestic violence in high lethality cases. This position oversees programs that provide direct services to survivors. Provides supervision to staff to assure survivors of domestic violence receive quality crisis counseling, case management, and advocacy services. Is responsible for ensuring accurate records are maintained and for providing statistical reporting for funding reports.
Education: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or related field is preferred. Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
Other Job Requirements: This position requires knowledge of basic personnel practices and procedures, the ability to identify program needs and implement programmatic changes and to provide effective and immediate crisis intervention for clients. Intermediate to advanced computer skills and clean driving record required. Must attend a 3 day training in order to become CORE certified prior to working with survivors.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. A minimum of 2 years of service management experience preferably in a domestic violence program, law enforcement or other related victim advocate program is preferred.
