Paint Process Engineering Assistant Manager:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set and achieve targets in the paint shop, including production volume and quality indices.
- Analyze production and quality data to improve productivity and paint quality.
- Coordinate and supervise operators, providing feedback and training.
- Manage construction progress and preparation for new model production in the paint shop.
- Analyze data and implement countermeasures for quality and productivity during new car production.
- Develop strategies for cost reduction and promote changes in processes.
- Develop recruitment and training plans for paint shop members.
- Ensure safety and prevent accidents in the paint shop.
- Build rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication.
Qualifications and Preferences:
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or material engineering.
- 3+ years of job-related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.
- Deep understanding of external markets and current trends.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in data analysis and proposal development.
- Authorized to work in the United States without company-sponsored sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Job experience in the automotive industry.
- Fluency in Korean.
