SEASONAL ENGINEERING INTERN
TOWN OF MILFORD - DEPT OF PUBLIC WORKS
An excellent opportunity for an undergrad to gain some great field experience!
The Milford, N.H. Department of Public Works is seeking a part-time intern with a background in GIS or Civil Engineering to work 24 hours per week for a period of up to 10 weeks (between June to August 2024) to assist the Town with a wide variety of data collection and engineering projects. Assignments may include: assisting with MS4 stormwater compliance, GPS locating of structures for incorporation into the Town's GIS Map, storm drain outfall identification and monitoring, and assisting in data entry. Applicants must have a valid driver's license. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and CAD or GIS software is desirable but not required. Applicants must be a college student. Starting rate $15.00 per hour.
