Ferra Designs seeks Installers with experience in architectural metal & glass and a demonstrated interest in quality design and craftsmanship.

Installer

Installer Requirements :

• Absolutely must have 10 hour NYC SST card plus OSHA 30 (Construction related) credentials
• Experience with installation of custom architectural elements such as doors, stairs, glass installation/glazing and cladding systems

• Experience working on luxury NYC commercial and residential projects

• Proficient at reading drawing sets

• Able to layout projects on the job site using laser levels, chalk lines, tape measure, etc

• Experience in structural as well as decorative project installation

• Experience with safe rigging practices, and the use of common equipment such as: Genie lifts, hoists, slings, forklifts and man lifts

• Great people skills, communicating with company managers, other trades and GC's

• Commercial Carpentry and or Millwork experience a plus.

• Welding experience a plus.

• Experience in handling and installing highly finished materials

Necessary Certifications :

• OSHA 30
• 10 HR SST

Preferred Certifications :

• 4 hour Scaffold
• NYC Supervisor SST
• NYC DOB Welding
• NYC F/60 G/60
