Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Architectural Sheet Metal Estimating, based in McHenry, IL. Responsibilities include preparing accurate cost estimates for architectural sheet metal projects, managing project timelines and resources, coordinating with contractors and clients, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and quality standards. The role also requires overseeing the integration of architectural solutions into project specifications and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Architectural Sheet Metal (Standing Seam Metal Roofs, Metal Wall Panels including Aluminum Composite Panels, Roof Related Sheet Metal) with a strong understanding of materials, specifications, and project workflows.
  • Experience in Solution Architecture and Integration, with the ability to align technical solutions with project needs and ensure seamless execution.
  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients, teams, and contractors, and to document project requirements clearly.
  • Proficiency in construction and project management software (Procore) etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of architectural sheet metal systems and construction practices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in understanding blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
