Job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Project Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and complete HVAC sheet metal estimates for fabrication and installation projects
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for sheet metal, equipment, and accessories
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents
  • Determine project scope of work and required estimate components
  • Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates
  • Prepare and manage change orders based on revised mechanical/shop drawings
  • Maintain organized files of all working documents, including pricing from suppliers and cost data
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5+ years of sheet metal estimating experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication
  • Proven ability to prepare accurate and complete estimates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
