Job description

Sheet Metal Duct Installer

Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Sheet Metal Duct Installers for current and future projects in and around Miami, FL. Most positions are first shift with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Sheet Metal Duct Installer and want to work alongside other proven Craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior workmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Select types of sheet metal according to building or design plans
  • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets
  • Hang & Fabricate Ductwork
  • Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
  • Install & cut metal sheets with supportive frameworks
  • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites
  • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal parts
  • Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering
  • Fabrication On-Site or in Shop
  • Setting Hangers
  • Trim, Fit, Hang and Seal Ductwork

Requirements:

  • Previous Sheet Metal experience
  • Tools for the Trade
  • Proper PPE must be worn
  • OSHA-10 preferred
