Prep/Line Cook part-time – The Harvest Café at Kitchen Kettle Village part-time

$13 to $16 per hour PLUS TIPS

KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE is now accepting applications for a PART-TIME PREP/LINE COOK AT THE HARVEST CAFE. The Café is open Monday through Saturday. As a prep/line cook, you will make a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees from scratch with fresh ingredients. This position is perfect for an experienced cook who wants better hours to balance work/life or someone just starting out in the culinary field. We offer a great working environment with awesome team members and a flexible schedule.

An ideal candidate should have cooking experience in a fast-paced environment, know basic cooking methods, be able to read and follow a recipe, and be an excellent team worker.

This is a part-time position, approximately 0-25 hours per week. Saturdays are considered a priority working day.

Some of the essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Cook and prepare a variety of food products, meats, vegetables, poultry, sauces, soups, desserts, and other delicious food items.
2. Understand and abide by the company’s cooking methods: kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
3. Record HACCP log daily.
4. Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
5. Receive and check in daily deliveries and accurately put away in proper location.
6. Comply with company portion and qualify standards.
7. Able to handle a knife efficiently and safely.
8. Must be able to work Saturdays and holidays as needed.
