Sr. Pricing Analyst

Role: Sr. Pricing Analyst

Role Description:

Reporting directly to General Manager, the Sr. Pricing Analyst reviews and sets all prices for Phobio’s global retail trade-in service.  The ideal candidate will possess a passion for data analysis and will work with an energetic team to identify and realize competitive opportunities.

You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing pricing data from various inputs which will meet specific financial targets. You will assist in developing strategic initiatives which will contribute to bringing more value to our partners and their customers.  

Role Responsibilities:

• Regularly gather and organize data from competitors; interpret and incorporate it into a broad analysis of Phobio’s pricing strategy to increase profits
• Utilize comprehensive data inputs to set competitive prices – maintaining data and pricing models

• Mapping Phobio product SKU’s, catalog, part numbers, and global ID’s
• Capable of managing internal ops product catalog: add, remove, update all product data and images for accuracy

• Analyze pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors and report data to decision-makers
• Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends
• Identify appropriate sales and clearance prices to increase customer traffic
• Creation, maintenance and management of SKU descriptions and configurations including entry/updating ERP/MRP/PIM system(s)
• Liaison with Engineering, Sales, & Disposition
• Projects to improve Supply Chain performance, such as purchase price data analysis, category specifications to lead to better reporting
• Ability to develop systems or processes to eliminate waste. Such as writing Excel and Sequel databases

Qualifications:

• BA/BS of Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering or 2+ years of equivalent experience
• Experience with the maintenance and management of product information
• Very strong attention to accuracy and detail while working in a fast paced, evolving and deadline driven environment
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, Excel, and/or Sisense

• Familiarity with mobile electronics
• Working knowledge of SQL and data base queries and reporting
