Shop Assembler Positions - Currently Full

Day Shift – Wall Panels, Floor Panels or Floor/Roof Trusses

5 Day Workweek – hours vary by Department, 10-hour shifts

If you’re looking to work indoors at a fast-paced, performance driven company, JL Schwieters has day shift positions available.  Assemble building components in an open, airy, clean, and safe atmosphere working with machinery and power/hand tools. 

Work independently while enjoying the support of a team-based atmosphere. 

The ability to read a tape measure is required and will be tested at your interview.  Our operation is state-of-the-art with blueprints projected on a screen above your work area.

The Assemblers at JL Schwieters are highly regarded craftsmen and craftswomen.  The attention to detail, proficiency and fast-paced work cadence enables our Assemblers to produce record numbers of quality building components.  Our training is performed on the floor by knowledgeable personnel and Supervisors to ensure you’re not entry-level for long.  Earn as you learn how to build with us!

General Day Shift Schedule – 48 Hours (OT after 40 hours per week)

Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Friday: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM

OR

Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
