CAD Drafter

CAD Drafter Job Description

Development, management and control of the Engineering's drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Clearly understand the project's objective and the scope of work.
• List the requirements and acceptance criteria of the stakeholders: engineering, manufacturing, quality control, supply chain, environmental, health and safety.
• Develop new drawings, update and maintain existing engineering drawings, including evacuation maps.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and monthly presentations.
• Compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
• Active participation in meetings.
• Perform continuous improvements to the drawings management systems.
• Develop as-built drawings, red-lines and record drawings.
• Create standard operating procedure for drawings management system.
• Update changes on drawings per change control procedure and protocols.
• Prepare simple sketches and layouts to facilitate understanding.
• Maintain open communication with supervisor, manager and AE Firms.
• Notify on items that may affect the project's quality, time and cost.

Requirements

• Associate degree as a draftsman with computer design drawing
• Certified AutoCAD program
• MS Office365 & MS Project
• Fully Bilingual
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional Drafter license (preferred)

Experience

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Industry.
• Drafting/ Auto CAD: 1-3 years (preferred)

Education

• Associate Degree

License/ Certification

• CAD Certification
