As a P&Id Drafter, your daily responsibilities often include creating, updating, and revising detailed piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) based on engineers’ sketches, specifications, and project requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with project engineers and other drafters to clarify technical information, ensure compliance with industry standards, and incorporate field or client feedback. Regular tasks may also involve managing drawing files, participating in project meetings, and implementing design changes to reflect project progress. This role requires a meticulous approach to documentation and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.
