A growing structural systems firm is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Steel Detailer to produce and coordinate shop drawings, framing plans, and fabrication details for steel structures. This role offers a direct impact on the construction processโ€”collaborating with engineers, fabricators, and erectors to bring projects from concept to completion.

Basic Qualifications

2โ€“3 years of experience producing steel framing plans and fabrication details
Associateโ€™s degree in Engineering (minimum); Bachelorโ€™s preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting
Familiarity with MS Word and Excel
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to interpret contract documents and resolve framing situations

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SDS/2 or other 3D drafting software
Background in detailing CMU, foundations, and metal stud systems alongside steel framing
