PURPOSE:

SUMMARY:

Responsible for systems administration, for supporting strategic and tactical organizational initiatives through vendor integrations, system enhancements, maintenance, and analytics within the department's technology systems. Responsible for coordinating and/or overseeing the implementation of new software, updates within the systems designed to meet the department's information needs. Administrator responsibilities also include but are not limited to special projects under the direction of management, as well as the routine day-to-day functions of all loan operation systems and applications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for software related to the operations in the Mortgage and Business Units, including system interfaces, which includes but is not limited to loan origination systems, program and pricing engine (PPE), contact relation management, Point-of-Sale, document storage system, fraud verification systems, account opening system, credit systems and Investor systems.
  • Responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of software, coordination, rollout, and setup of systems, including updates and maintenance.
  • Provide day-to-day technology support and general systems management (user/group management, license management, systems configurations, custom fields, and calculations integration, etc.) This includes troubleshooting, timely error resolution and coordination of support requests directly with vendors and end users when necessary.
  • Research / evaluate user needs associated with software and determine appropriate action needed.
  • Partner with Mortgage and Business operations, compliance and quality assurance to ensure enterprise-wide reporting needs for due diligence, risk assessment and quality control.
  • Responsible for assisting vendor management and IT department, including monitoring contract compliance, performance, and vendor reviews as it relates to systems.
  • Maintain competency on current technology and its applications for the benefit of end users and support the credit union's business objectives, including professional development and related subsequent training to end users as needed.
  • Assist in preparation, scheduling and testing of Disaster Recovery Procedures on a yearly basis.
  • Stay abreast of industry related technology enhancements to create efficiencies within department's systems.
  • Attend and participate industry related meetings, seminars and special events pertaining to SSSCU's lending technology systems and operations.
  • Compliance with all government and credit union regulations
  • Maintain records of any configuration changes including but not limited to installations of new software and releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, maintenance and resolve software related problems.
  • Ensure that loan level data integrity components are present on department's technology platforms, supporting documentation is electronically archived such that a loan level data can be transferred to other credit union's systems accurately and that a forensic review can be performed.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of reports tailored to management requirements, presenting data in a clear and concise manner to aid decision-making processes at all levels of the organization.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Mortgage and Business lending applications and systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic networking protocols is required. Strong understanding of application support. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Officer Products: Excel skills with functions such as formulas, pivot tables and macros preferred.
  • Possess strong communication skills including professional-level grammar and spelling.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize. Strong attention to detail, highly organized
  • Admin Tools experience (e.g. Settings Manager, WebCenter)
