We are looking forย a skillful Trade Operations Analyst to join our Trade Operations team within the Business Team. This individual will be exposed to our various trading operations and innovative proprietary software. Our Trading Operations Analysts thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment where they engage in high-level interactions with all levels of management as well as contribute to various trading desk activities. This role offers the potential for increased responsibility in accounting, technology, and operations to continue the success of the firm. The ideal candidate for this role will take the lead on their own learning to grow and expand their ability.ย ย

The Trade Operations Team manages middle-office tasks in support of traders including real-time position reconciliation, trade confirmation, reporting, exercise and assignment notifications, brokerage tracking and reconciliation, and miscellaneous exchange-related inquiries.ย ย ย 
What you'll do
  • Work alongside experienced traders and managing partners to gain an unparalleled knowledge of our proprietary systems.ย 
  • Use scripts and queries to research and analyze reconciliation issuesย ย 
  • Identify and implement technology and process improvement opportunitiesย 
  • Assist with position management, trade checks, and order executionย 
  • Ensure that all trades have been reconciled appropriatelyย 
  • Review and reconcile invoices from brokers to ensure accuracyย 
  • Continuously communicate and coordinate with our technology teamsย 
  • Brainstorm and produce or assist in the production of automation tools to increase firm efficiency and accuracyย 
  • Be an independent leader on projects that improve our trading operations managementย 
  • Learn trading concepts and options theory taught in Belvedere's extensive education programย 
What you'll need
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative and communication skillsย 
  • Ability to automate and improve processes by applying technical tools such as Python, VBA, scripting,ย and SQLย 
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.ย ย 
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment with the understanding that hard work is rewardedย 
  • Master of multi-tasking during the trading dayย 
  • The ability to be a team player and take direction from different teammates throughout the dayย ย 
  • Must be a self-motivated, quick learner who utilizes various technologies that evolve frequentlyย 
  • Bonus points if you have previous exposure to the financial industryย

$75,000 - $100,000 a year
