Job description

HIGH-LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Trade Compliance Manager is responsible for the global compliance function with an emphasis on import/export compliance, trade policy, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable international trade regulations (CBP, EAR, ITAR, OFAC).
This is a hybrid position based near Alpharetta, GA.

EXPECTATIONS

ยท Manage HTS classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determinations across product lines
ยท Oversee customs broker performance, entry accuracy, CBP requests and examinations
ยท Administer EAR and ITAR licensing workflows including ECCN classification and license exceptions
ยท Execute compliance audits across import and export transactions and drive corrective action
ยท Monitor CBP, BIS, DDTC, and OFAC regulatory updates and implement required process and control changes
ยท Evaluate Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualification and administer origin certification programs
ยท Provide regulatory guidance to logistics, procurement, and finance teams on trade compliance questions
ยท Build trade compliance metrics and KPIs to track performance and report risk trends

ESSENTIALS

ยท Bachelor's degree required
ยท 5+ years of trade compliance experience across import and export operations
ยท Working knowledge of CBP entry processes, HTS classification, Country of Origin, valuation, FTZ
ยท Hands-on experience administering EAR and ITAR licensing and ECCN classification
ยท Strong understanding of FTA qualification and duty savings programs
ยท Technical acumen and data analytical skills
ยท Licensed US Customs Broker (LCB), CUSECO, CCS, or CES a plus
