Purchasing Specialist

Job Description

The Purchasing Specialist works with the team of scientist and engineers and is responsible for executing procurement of various raw materials and chemicals and other inventory for the company. The job duties include inventory management, opening packages, and some office management tasks such
as vendor and delivery service management.

Responsibilities

Work on a team of experienced EnergyX scientists and engineers on projects focused on disruptive materials and engineering systems to fundamentally transform scientific aspects of the energy industry including:

• Review and submit purchase orders based on Company’s policies and procedures.
• Receive and open deliveries.
• Track inventories and order status.
• Pay invoices.
• Track invoices.
• Liaise with vendors.
• Oversee timely delivery of orders.
• Some office management tasks
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Previous purchasing and experience required.
• Superior organizational skills and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
