Carpenters/Concrete Finishers

We are seeking a carpenter/cement finisher who is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in both carpentry work and concrete finishing. This combination of skills is particularly useful in construction projects where both woodwork and concrete work are involved, such as building houses, commercial buildings, bridges, or other structures.
Carpenter Responsibilities:
1. Reading Blueprints: Interpreting construction plans to understand the layout and dimensions of the project.
2. Building Framework: Constructing the structural framework of buildings, which includes walls, floors, and roofs, using wood or other materials.
3. Installing Fixtures: Mounting doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures onto the framework.
4. Trim Work: Installing trim, molding, and other decorative elements to enhance the appearance of the interior and exterior of buildings.
5. Repair Work: Repairing or replacing damaged wooden structures or fixtures.
Concrete Finisher Responsibilities:
1. Preparing Surfaces: Preparing the site for concrete pouring by leveling the ground and setting up forms or molds to contain the concrete.
2. Pouring Concrete: Mixing and pouring concrete into the forms to create foundations, slabs, sidewalks, or other structures.
3. Finishing Surfaces: Using various tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds to smooth and level the concrete surface.
4. Adding Texture: Applying textures or patterns to the concrete surface for aesthetic purposes or to improve traction.
5. Curing and Sealing: Ensuring proper curing of the concrete by applying curing compounds or sealants to protect the surface and enhance durability.
