Window and Door Installer Assistant (Carpentry)
- $22 to $24 Hourly
- Full-Time
The purpose of the Installer Assistant position is to assist in staging of customer orders, perform work site set up, basic to routine window or door installations and removal, and perform work site tear down and clean up of the entire job site in accordance with Renewal by Andersen’s guidelines. This position also will also assist in the warehouse as needed.
What you'll do:
- Effectively prepares the job site for set up and tear down
- Assists with installing window and door products in accordance with company standards and processes
- Collaborates with the Lead Installer throughout the installation project to maximize efficiencies, proper tear outs and installation techniques
- Builds and sustains positive homeowner relations
- Plans continual self-learning and development of skills
- Assists to adhere to proper safety techniques
- Builds and sustains positive co-worker relationships
- Demonstrates self-leadership and accountability
- Demonstrates responsible attendance and punctuality
- Demonstrates the ability to be adaptable
- Assists to continually improves processes
- The ability to precision install, jamb extensions and minor stucco patching
- Will provide own tools
- To drive an RBA or personal vehicle employees are required to hold a driver’s license and current auto insurance as required by law, be an approved driver by RBA's insurance and provide copies to the Human Resource department
- Performs any other related, unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, out of the ordinary or special duties that may be assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Trade school diploma/certificate desired
- Two years general carpentry experience desired
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools
- Customer service experience desired
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job
- Able to communicate with peers and homeowners
- Able to organize tasks and jobs requirements
- Proficient in the use of tools and equipment
- Valid and active driver's license
