Graphic Designer – White Plains, NY

Our client is a global multi-billion dollar Consumer Packaged Goods company, based in Westchester County, New York. They are seeking contract Package Graphic Designer to work in their White Plains, NY headquarters. Estimated length of assignment is 6 months.

Our client is looking for an In House Graphic Designer with at least 3 years of experience designing for Shopper Marketing. He/she should be an effective collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously. The assets created by the Graphic Designer, should visually express the brand and project-specific needs as defined by the shopper team, creative briefs and brand style guides.

This position requires a high level of organization and strong attention to detail. To be successful in this position, you must be a self-starter, capable of delivering excellent creative on time with strong attention to detail. You should be a curious, out-of-the-box thinker, strategic problem solver and collaborative team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with the Creative/Project Lead to support client objectives, discuss creative direction, and ensure consistency and standards across brands
• Execute, build and prep files for release to print and digital platforms
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials including print, emails, banners, landing pages and social assets
• Manage photography and creative assets database, organizing photo and brand assets
• Work efficiently under fast-paced tight deadlines
• Proactively solve production/creative related issues
• Continue learning to keep skills and industry knowledge current
• Ability to work quickly and autonomously with flexibility in high pressure situations
• Execute creative campaigns in print and digital media for our stores and websites, including, but not limited to:
• Print advertising
• Social Media
• Email
• Web graphics
• Deliver creative execution that is on brief, on time, and on budget
• Work collaboratively with other team members to deliver high quality, accurate creative assets

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have 3+ years of professional full-time design experience in an agency or in-house environment (not including freelance work)
• Expert of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in retail industry
• A keen eye for detail and consistency
• Understanding of print and digital production specifications and requirements for asset delivery
• Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of print and web technologies relevant to advertising
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Must be energetic, confident and motivated
• Good written and communication skills
• Ability to follow-up verbally and via email, and be an effective communicator
• Experience with Adobe Premiere preferred
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and adding graphics to video preferred
