Summary:
Nisga'a Tek is seeking a Graphic Designer IV to provide visual media support. The Graphic design specialists qualified to combine graphics with animation to create multimedia content for eLearning, web, and videos/films.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Collaborate with other designers and cross-functional partners.
  • Responsible for producing complex multimedia products including 3D assets, motion graphics, character and 3D environmental designs, photo manipulation, GenAI graphics, and custom icons.
  • Defines interaction patterns and visual standards for all customer products so that learners experience accurate content with consistent navigation, accessibility, visual hierarchy, and correct use of customer branding.
  • Utilize AI to enhance motion graphics and video production and continues to push boundaries to create deeply engaging and innovative content.
  • Deliver production-ready designs and documentation and collaborate with instructional designers, developers, and subject matter experts to see designs through to implementation.
  • Coach peers and train GS personnel as needed.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Apply strong design thinking and have experience working with user groups (including early user testing)
  • Can move from ideation to execution with minimal direction (senior level)
  • Understand and apply, desirability, feasibility, and viability -balancing innovation with system constraints (growth mindset and Human-centered design lens)

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 15 years of related graphic design experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working within a DoD Center of Excellence, with a strong preference for experience at MEDCoE. Proven leadership capabilities within a Center of Excellence environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with high-priority projects requiring complex multimedia development and creative workflows using AI across multimodalities
  • Expert skills in visual design and prototyping tools (includes Figma or equivalent)

Pay and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $95,000.
