What is a Graphic Designer IV?

A Graphic Designer IV is a senior-level graphic design professional who typically oversees complex design projects and may lead teams of other designers. They are responsible for creating advanced visual concepts, ensuring brand consistency, and collaborating with marketing, product, and leadership teams. This role often requires extensive experience with design software, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in managing multiple projects. Graphic Designer IVs contribute to strategic decisions and may mentor junior staff. Their work has a significant impact on a company's visual identity and communication.

How does a Graphic Designer IV typically collaborate with other departments or stakeholders on complex projects?

As a Graphic Designer IV, you will frequently work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure design concepts align with broader business goals. You'll often lead creative discussions, gather feedback from stakeholders, and provide guidance to junior designers. Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Graphic Designer IV to join their team in Atlanta, GA.
Summary:
This person leads design for complex, technical partner initiatives end-to-end, working within established brand frameworks. They move fast, get first-hand answers from the teams closest to the work, and are trusted to make sound creative decisions with minimal oversight, contributing directly to some of the client's most strategically significant partner relationships.
Duties:
* Own and support small to medium design projects across the full partner marketing portfolio, from partner program launches like IAS (the client's Accountants Suite, home to ProPartner) and GPP (the client's global partner program, covering VAR/IES), brand systems, thru-partner campaigns and partner-facing enablement materials
* Build and maintain campaign assets, enablement materials and tool kits for the accountant audience, working inside the client's brand systems
* Synthesize complex briefs into clear, compelling copy that aligns with business objectives, product positioning, and partner program goals, often across multiple brands
* Proactively ramp up on new partner programs and product areas, including IAS, IES, Quickbooks Advanced, Billpay, Payments, Workforce, ProPartner Accountants, and GPP/VAR/IES, to build first-hand understanding and partner fluency with project managers, marketers, and copywriters to get answers
* Translate briefs into clear, compelling design that aligns with business objectives, product positioning, and partner program goals - often across multiple cornerstone brands (QuickBooks, Mailchimp, the client's Enterprise Suite)
* Partner with marketing leads and copywriters to build out co-branding guidelines.
* Bring strong technical execution to every project: clean file organization, production-ready assets, and fluency across the specs and formats each channel requires
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of advertising or in-house agency experience preferred
* Fluency with Slack and Google Workspace
* Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator + Photoshop)
* A strong portfolio that demonstrates clean execution, systems thinking, solid product and brand judgment, and clear design across multiple products or brands
* Excellent team building and collaboration skills.
* Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently across multiple workstreams while maintaining quality.
* Proficiency in video, digital, social, print and beyond-campaign integration across all channels.
* Effective handling of multiple assignments in a fast-moving environment.
* Comfortable with and receptive to feedback; desire to quickly address feedback.
* Experience with UI design, video, and motion content is a plus
How you'll work:
You'll operate as a valued contributor embedded in a small, fast-moving in-house creative studio serving the full GBSG partner marketing organization. You'll bring strong technical execution to campaigns and program launches, and ensure every touchpoint reflects strong brand stewardship and meets partner requirements.
You're comfortable with ambiguity and context-switching: one week you may be designing campaign assets for an integration launch, the next you're producing assets within the visual system for the client's Global Partner Program launch. You know how to get from question to answer quickly - whether that means digging into the product yourself, attending a partner op mech, or getting the right people on a call.
You'll workshop content alongside a copywriter in Figma, participate in live creative reviews, and collaborate closely with Accountant and Partner Marketing stakeholders for approvals - delivering high-impact content at pace without compromising quality or clarity.
