Staff Accountant

Role: Staff Accountant

Location: Houston, TX (on-site)

Pay Rate: $34 / hour

We are looking for a Staff Accountant! Our client in Houston, Texas is seeking a Staff Accountant on a contract-to-hire basis.

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform balance sheet reconciliations.

· Gather data and supporting schedules from third-party management companies, to maintain our own internal audit files.

· Import monthly trial balances (for residential entities under third-party management) into the system for consolidation.

· Process daily cash reconciliation.

· Review intercompany billings from Accounts Payable.

· Process daily/monthly journal entries.

· Approve AP invoices.

· Forward mail to Greystar/consult.

Job Requirements:

· 2 years of experience
