Daily Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician (call center):
- Working in the Pharmacy Service Center – a call center that handles calls regarding prior authorizations
- There are about 50 people in this call center, will be taking calls to check on prior authorization status and answer any questions regarding prior authorization
- Handling 50+ calls each day.
Requirements of a Pharmacy Technician (call center):
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of CA
- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Experience working with Prior Authorizations
- Complete assessment tests: Typing (3-minute – scoring 35+ WPM), Customer Service Skills, and Computer Skills
Hours for this Position of a Pharmacy Technician (call center):
- M-F, will most likely be on the 9:30-6:00 shift - (call center is open 5:00am-6:00pm, have to be available to work the earlier shifts if needed)
