About the Position
As the Sr. Director of E-commerce, you'll be the architect of our online strategy and future success. You'll spearhead strategic initiatives across our Shopify platform, while championing a data-driven approach to solidify Venus Fashion's position in the market. Your leadership will be instrumental in crafting a frictionless, personalized customer journey that fosters brand loyalty and unlocks a sustainable path to growth.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and optimization of our e-commerce channel, leveraging expertise in eCRM, loyalty programs, site merchandising, CRO, and personalization efforts to drive profitability and long-term sustainability.
- Craft a visionary roadmap to guide our digital transformation across customer touchpoints, ensuring every initiative strengthens our market position and lays the foundation for future growth.
- Foster a collaborative environment, working hand-in-hand with Marketing, Product, Data, Operations, and Technology teams to achieve shared goals of customer acquisition, retention, and efficient operations.
- Champion continuous improvement in e-commerce practices – from brainstorming innovative concepts to meticulously planning, implementing, and executing them with key stakeholders, all while maintaining a focus on positive ROI.
- Oversee the development and optimization of eCRM, loyalty programs, and personalization strategies to deepen customer engagement, drive repeat purchases, and maximize the value of each customer.
- Become the architect of an exceptional online storefront, wielding merchandise curation, content creation, and product listing optimization (content, imagery, pricing, descriptions) to create a user-friendly and conversion-focused experience.
- Orchestrate the promotional calendar, meticulously crafting strategic campaigns and promotions that deliver strong sales performance and contribute significantly to overall profit margins.
- Lead the charge in optimizing our website, ensuring an intuitive and captivating user experience that fosters profitable customer interactions.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Shopify platform experience is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Direct-to-Consumer E-commerce, with a proven track record of optimizing and stabilizing e-commerce operations.
- Deep expertise across the e-commerce landscape – CRM, customer retention, CRO, SEO, and experience with managing a private label credit card and/or non-card loyalty program a plus.
- A data-driven leader, comfortable driving Action from Insight and making decisions rooted in data.
- Exceptional organizational skills, a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, and a relentless pursuit of meeting deadlines are a must.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on building collaborative teams focused on achieving operational excellence and future growth goals.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster seamless collaboration across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on process improvement and exceeding performance targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills, as well as good planning, time management and organizational proficiencies.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field, and a minimum of 10+ years of related experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience leading teams.
