Position: Manager of Investor Relations
Location: Cleveland, OH (on site downtown)
Duration: Full time, W2

Description:
Our client, a leading alternatives investment and operational platform, is seeking an Investor Relations professional to become their Manager of Investor Relations. You will help lead their seamless client experience for their technology platform for the future Alternative Investments. The ideal candidate will take a service lead approach to supporting the onboarding of investors, partnering with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the alternative investment lifecycle. The candidate will lead as a subject matter expert the onboarding, servicing, and reporting lifecycle, providing leadership and guidance to the other team members.

The position responsibilities will include:
  • Create a center of excellence for the Investor Relations team by building out process standards and client service model
  • Handle all subscription and onboarding related questions to new investors and investment opportunities from an operations perspective
  • Support adoption and iteration of Investor Relations related processes to ensure team works efficiently and effectively through client opportunities
  • Participate in user interviews with internal technology teams to ensure process pain points and feedback opportunities are articulated addressed
  • Work with cross functional teams such as Business Development, Research, and Accounting to ensure each teams’ subject matter expertise is utilized when needed by an investor opportunity
  • Coordinate stakeholder sign off on relevant topics, including Legal & Compliance when introducing new features
  • Identify and raise concerns regarding processing capabilities, schedule, and other risks associated with any project or client opportunity
  • Support firm’s compliance and privacy requirements as a SEC registered investment advisor as part of solution design, including SOC2 standards, PII protection, and other necessary safeguards
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of serving in an operations, accounting opening and servicing, investment support, or related functionality
  • Preferred to have 2+ years of financial services industry experience, focused on alternative investments
  • Familiarity with transactional data and position data sets
  • Understanding of the alternative investment lifecycle, including subscription, capital calls/distributions, reporting, and other operational elements
  • Demonstrate exceptional qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Handling investor questions to complex scenarios, managing communication and solution delivery to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work independently day-to-day and support broad firm goals over long term
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead complex investor scenarios and lead conversations with both external clients and business stakeholders
