ABOUT THE ROLE

The Investor Relations Manager will serve as a key member of the Amrize Investor Relations Team. This individual will help develop and convey Amrize's message to the investment community and internal constituents through the creation of quarterly earnings call materials, internal performance tracking, board materials, and participation in investor outreach calls. Reporting to the Vice President of Investor Relations, this position will partner with the finance and accounting teams to analyze company results, identify key drivers of financial performance, and develop tools for effectively communicating results to both internal management and the external investment community. This individual will also be heavily involved in comparing peers' financial results as well as sell-side consensus numbers to the company's actual performance. 

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Ownership of quarterly earnings call materials, including investor slide deck, Q&A document, and trended results file.
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Business Line Finance teams to analyze and track financial results.
  • Develop relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts; participate in investor and analyst calls.
  • Review sell-side analyst notes for Amrize and peers.
  • Assist with developing Amrize's annual investor targeting and outreach program.
  • Analyze shareholder base, changes in ownership, and key feedback from investors; provide a summary on a quarterly basis to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
  • Track public reporting of the peer group, and compare key metrics to internal results to determine areas of outperformance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Track and manage sell-side consensus estimates.
  • Manage Amrize's Investor Relations website, including posting new materials and ensuring information on the site is up to date.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of all investor relations initiatives and work products, as well as recommend new strategies/programs to broaden shareholder interest.
  • Maintain an outstanding reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication with internal stakeholders and the investment community; make recommendations for continuous improvements to Amrize's investor relations website and use of technology/mobile tools to allow for meaningful access to the firm's financial information.
  • Create presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events, conferences, and meetings with investors.
  • Review and comment on the quarterly and annual filings and other collateral materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission, ensuring accuracy, quality, and enhancement of key messages and financial metrics.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education:  Bachelor's degree  

Additional Education Preferred:  Master's degree

Field of Study Preferred:  Business, finance, or accounting. Progress toward a CFA designation is desirable.

Required Work Experience:  5+ years of corporate finance and/or accounting experience; previous sell-side experience in the Building Materials or Industrial sector is a plus. 

Travel Requirements:  20%

  • Experience working in a large corporate environment with multiple business lines.
  • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
