Job description

Axalta has remained at the forefront of the coatings industry by continually investing in innovative solutions. We engineer technologies that protect customers' products - whether they are battling heat, light, corrosion, abrasion, moisture, or chemicals - and add dimension and beauty with colourful finishes. We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.
We are currently looking for an Investor Relations Manager to join us at our facility in Philadelphia, PA.
  • This role will support the Vice President of Investor Relations in developing and executing the company's investor relations program in addition to supporting corporate strategy programs.
  • The Investor Relations Manager serves as a strategic partner to the Vice President of Investor Relations, supporting the Company's communications with the investment community while providing market intelligence, competitive insights and financial analysis to executive leadership. The role sits at the intersection of finance, capital markets, strategy and corporate communications and plays a key role in shaping the Company's external narrative and long-term shareholder engagement strategy.
  • In addition to supporting the investor relations program, this role contributes to corporate strategy initiatives through market analysis, financial modeling, competitive intelligence and corporate development activities.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, accountable and have a demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Most importantly, the candidate must share in our best-in-class Investor Relations philosophy, which emphasizes a sense of urgency, uncompromising integrity, and a passion for creating shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including earnings releases, SEC filings, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, investor presentations and supporting financial analyses.
  • Managing shareholder and analyst inquiries/requests and respond in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate responses to shareholder requests.
  • Support strategic integrated communications, including preparing and organizing the earnings prep materials, press releases, and Investor Relations website materials.
  • Monitor and analyze shareholder base and market trends, providing insights to senior leadership.
  • Support planning and execution of investor events, including roadshows, investor conferences, and annual shareholder meetings.
  • Create and maintain models based upon published analyst reports, working with internal and external analysts to understand key model drivers and align valuations and forecasts.
  • Create stock trend analyses and peer analyses using web-based tools, for presentation to management and the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and maintain periodic feedback reports on company security performance for executive management and the Board of Directors.
  • Key contributor in corporate development and functional strategic initiatives.
  • Lead financial due diligence on active and/or potential acquisition targets.
  • Monitor competitor announcements, macroeconomic trends, industry developments and M&A activity, providing actionable insights

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; major in finance, economics, or a related quantitative discipline preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Equity Capital Markets, FP&A or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial topics into clear investor messaging.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ and IR CRM platforms preferred.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, sound judgment, integrity, intellectual curiosity and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
