Job Description

The Director of Investor Relations will provide strategic guidance and serve as an advisor to the company on the Investor Relations program. This role will engage, interface and influence with a range of senior stakeholders, including the Cโ€‘suite.

The Director, Investor Relations, will manage interaction and effectively communicate with Wall Street buy and sell side analysts, perform financial analysis, and lead the development and execution of a comprehensive and proactive investor strategy. This includes analyst and investor targeting as well as strategic messaging to โ€œtell the storyโ€ of Dominoโ€™s.

Main responsibilities
  • Develop a proactive investor relations strategy and narrative, in coordination with the VP of IR, Cโ€‘Suite and peers, ensuring that the companyโ€™s business strategy and progress is understood by the analyst and investor community.
  • Coordinate and/or prepare earnings releases and other financial announcements, conference call remarks, investor presentations, and management reports of market, trading, and stock ownership.
  • Maintain and coordinate investor relations reporting that includes the companies shareholder base, competitor tracking, and public company master franchisees.
  • Maintain strong company and sector expertise. Stay current on all company business activities, including financial and other material to be responsive to investors and media, and to communicate effectively with management.
  • Execute a high-touch Investor Relations program through avenues such as shareholder meetings, road shows, conferences, and regular meetings/conference calls with investors, portfolio managers, buyโ€‘side and sellโ€‘side analysts.
  • Assist with presentations for investor, corporate communications and marketing initiatives, customer events and investor conferences, road shows and other activities.
  • Maintain current investor presentations to ensure they are informative, accurate, and relevant to the current environment.
  • Develop investor targeting campaigns and communication plans; understand current investors, develop a profile of target investors and work with the executive team and the analyst community, placing Dominoโ€™s in front of target investors continuously.
  • Proactively engage investors and sellโ€‘side analysts to articulate the strategy of and status of Dominoโ€™s progress.
  • Work with the VP of IR to maintain and develop sellโ€‘side and buyโ€‘side analyst relationships.
  • Record and summarize all investor and analyst contact.
  • Communicate with executive management and the board of directors in addition to regular contact with financial staff and others across the company, both domestic and international, to understand the timing and impact of business events.
  • Work closely with Internal/External Communications team on full range of communications.
  • Manage the budget for the investor relations function.
  • Maintain the Companyโ€™s IR website.
Qualifications
  • Technical Experience: 7-10 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, finance, strategy, accounting, or planning and development for a public company. CFA/CPA preferred. Undergraduate degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Strategic Business Partner: Demonstrable track record of successfully partnering with a range of senior stakeholders, and external constituents on a variety of strategic initiatives.
  • Industry Experience: Restaurant or retail experience preferred. โ€œBest athleteโ€ candidates from other industries will also be considered. Experience in a global business preferred.
  • Credibility and Executive Presence: Strong reputation with the investment community, based on credibility, consistency, visibility, access, and depth and breadth of knowledge. Possesses sophisticated communication skills (both written and verbal).
