About the Role:Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Investor Relations Manager to support the execution of a best-in-class IR program. This role serves as a key partner to the Vice President of Investor Relations and collaborates closely with senior leadership, Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Corporate Communications to effectively communicate the company's strategy, financial performance, and pipeline progress to the investment community.
The Senior Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for leading key components of the IR strategy and driving execution of complex, high-impact initiatives. This individual will serve as a recognized functional expert in Investor Relations, shaping investor messaging, influencing engagement strategy, driving alignment across senior stakeholders and recommending enhancements to IR processes, tools and practices.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Partner with the VP of Investor Relations to recommend, develop and execute IR strategy and priorities

  • Translate business performance, pipeline updates, and corporate strategy into clear, compelling investor narratives

  • Lead preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, scripts, presentations, and Q&A

  • Develop investor presentations, executive briefing materials, and content for investor events

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for select investors and sell-side analysts

  • Support and lead execution of investor events, including earnings calls, investor days, conferences, and non-deal roadshows

  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and strategic alignment across all external communications and disclosures

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Commercial, R&D, and Corporate Communications

  • Influence senior stakeholders to align on messaging, positioning, and disclosure strategy

  • Analyze investor sentiment, market dynamics, peer performance, competitive landscape and emerging industry trends to inform IR strategy and messaging

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the VP and senior leadership

  • Anticipate emerging trends, risks, and opportunities; proactively refine messaging accordingly

  • Drive continuous improvement of IR processes, tools, and engagement tracking

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and disclosure requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Life Sciences, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience OR

  • Master's degree with 6+ years of experience OR

  • Advanced degree (PhD/JD) with 4+ years of experience

  • Relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate communications, or corporate finance strongly preferred

  • Biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of capital markets, equity valuation methodologies, institutional investor behavior, and sell-side research processes

  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering investor-facing communications, including earnings materials, investor presentations, executive briefing documents, and Q&A preparation

  • Knowledge of SEC disclosure requirements, Regulation FD, and public company investor relations practices

  • Experience analyzing financial results, market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive dynamics to develop actionable business insights

  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical, scientific, and regulatory developments into clear investment messaging

  • Strategic thinker with strong business and financial acumen

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of professionalism and executive presence

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Collaborative, cross-functional mindset with the ability to influence without authority

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $148,500.00-$203,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
