Marketing & Public Relations Manager

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Based on the selected individual’s experience and areas of marketing expertise, the Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for 4 overall areas: 1) Content development and management, 2) Social Media strategy and execution, 3) Automated email marketing and 4) Public Relations engagement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following are the essential functions and responsibilities of the position:

• Brainstorm, plan, and coordinate all website, blog, and social media content.
• Manage freelance writers.
• Work directly with ePac’s customers for co-promotion opportunities used as content.
• Create + manage a content calendar for blog, website, and social media.
• Manage international social media to protect the ePac brand and messaging.
• Build email marketing campaigns, including emails blasts, an email newsletter, and drip campaigns.
• Work with our SEO team to develop content (both website pages and blog posts) based around our SEO strategy.
• Develop and implement Public Relations strategies both at the domestic and international level to drive story-telling around ePac’s “Why”
• Utilize Public Relations strategy to enhance ePac’s presence with the media, and implement methods for building these relationships accordingly
• Manage our NPS/CSAT survey program.
• Manage Google My Business pages, including responding to reviews.
• Creates and disseminates internal and external communication.
• Assists in managing the ePac brand.
• Works with the company’s CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing Automation platforms (Pardot) to develop email campaigns.
• Supports ePac domestic and international offices as required.
• Works cross-functionally to achieve marketing objectives, in particular with sales.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with trade show participation
• May be asked to present ePac at various customer and industry events
• Other projects, as assigned

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Social media management.
• Email marketing using Pardot (or similar) Marketing Automation platform.
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM and analytic reporting/interpretation.
• Ability to work with international teams to manage multiple social media channels.
• Experience with SalesForce.com and WordPress.
• Work with a variety of different teams and customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills along with hands-on knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing workload and schedules.
• An eye for design (preferred, but not required)

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years working in digital marketing, including SEO, Email marketing, and content development
• Knowledge of flexible packaging is a plus.
