Program Manager

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Program Manager for an exciting opportunity located in Albany, Georgia.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Provide overall project management of client delivery team providing IT Operations Support to MARCORLOGCOM G6. Responsible for ensuring suitable technical and analytical expertise to support ongoing responsibilities delineated in performance work statement, as well as variances in the scope of activities approved and directed by the Contracting Officer. This effort encompasses database management, applications management, web and OS management, enterprise backup and recovery, virtual infrastructure/cloud management, and system architecture support in support of MARCORLOGCOM G6.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

• Establishing a cohesive management framework that ensures contract activities produce the desired objectives coincident with the notional schedule of events.
• Maintaining the management plan (e.g., POA&M) collaboratively developed with MARCORLOGCOM, providing weekly updates, and supporting necessary actions required to ensure compliance with the prescribed schedule of events.
• Communicating formally and informally with senior managers, functional area managers, and stakeholders regarding the status of specific projects.
• Developing formal processes for executing task actions, along with interfacing with Government customers, to ensure the overall effectiveness of the technical management program (e.g., products, issues, status tracking).
• Ensuring the overall effectiveness of the technical management program (e.g., products, issues, status tracking), and maintain an appropriate work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Maintaining the management plan (collaboratively developed with MARCORLOGCOM), providing weekly updates, and supporting necessary actions required to ensure compliance with the prescribed schedule of events. The plan shall be reviewed quarterly and modified only through bilateral agreement.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

• BS & 10 - 15 years experience
• 8570 IAT ii Certification (EG: Sec +)
• Program Manager Professional certification (preferred) or Project Plus
• Ability to perform duties with little or no supervision

Minimum Clearance

• Secret clearance (interim secret clearance is acceptable on a case by case basis)

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Physical demands associated with this position may include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
