Position: Sr. Technical Assistant
Department: PARCS - MOAH: Cedar
Classification: Temporary; Up to 18 hours a week
Salary Range: $26.52 - $30.70 Hourly
Non - Exempt – Overtime Eligible
Job Summary:Under general supervision, provides oversight for special programs at the Cedar Center for the Arts and MOAH:CEDAR galleries. This role will be responsible for leading a small team of art program leaders in the development of exhibitions, special projects, and public programming.
Leadership Responsibilities:May oversee Art Program Leaders.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Work closely with MOAH:CEDAR’s Arts and Culture Coordinator to implement and facilitate MOAH:CEDAR’s exhibitions and programming
- Work closely with MOAH:CEDAR’s coordinator to support MOAH’s curatorial objectives, including artist interfacing, registration, condition reports, and art handling.
- Assist Arts and Culture Coordinator in interfacing with artists and other community stakeholders to facilitate innovative public programs
- Oversee a small team of 6 to 9 staff members and their regular roster of MOAH:CEDAR programs
- Assist Arts and Culture Coordinator with various administrative tasks including scheduling, communications, emails, and marketing
- Assist in training incoming members of the MOAH:CEDAR team
- Assist in evaluating MOAH:CEDAR’s current roster of programs
