Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to provide advanced nursing care to patients across the lifespan. The ARNP will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments to establish medical histories and diagnose health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to aid in accurate diagnosis.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and interventions based on patient diagnoses and needs.
• Prescribe medications and therapies, as appropriate, following state regulations and medical guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Provide counseling and guidance on lifestyle changes and self-management of chronic diseases.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
• Communicate effectively and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards for medical record-keeping.
• Stay current with healthcare laws and regulations and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Obtain and maintain appropriate licenses and certifications required by state law.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
• Advocate for patients' rights and provide empathetic, patient-centered care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) required.

Certifications:

• National certification as an ARNP (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, etc.) required.
• Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in (State) required.

Work Experience:

• Proven experience as an ARNP in a clinical setting.
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining professional development and continuing education.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
• May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
• Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
