Ammo Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining sales-related data into our systems. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our sales data, which is essential for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Input sales orders, invoices, and other relevant information into our database accurately and in a timely manner.
- Update Records: Regularly update and maintain existing sales records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify Information: Double-check all entered data for accuracy and completeness, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
- Organize Documentation: Organize and maintain physical and electronic sales documents and files for easy access and retrieval.
- Communicate with Sales Team: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure accurate data entry and resolve any issues or questions regarding sales data.
- Generate Reports: Assist in generating regular sales reports and analytics to provide insights into sales performance and trends.
- Adhere to Procedures: Follow established procedures and guidelines for data entry and record-keeping to maintain data integrity and security.
- Support Team Efforts: Provide support to the sales team as needed, including administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in data entry or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a sales or administrative role.
- Proficiency in using data entry software and tools, with a high degree of accuracy and speed in typing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) is a plus.
