General Description:
The successful candidate will provide senior application development services to support the Core Financial Systems (CFS) suite of systems currently hosted using Unisys products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide senior development services required to maintain the CFS operational environment resulting from Deficiency Reports (DRs) and approved Software Change Requests (SCRs) as well as application modifications to implement changes to Laws, Regulations, and Policies (LRP). This includes developing design and test artifacts, providing technical solutions for SCRs, performing coding, unit test, and continuous integration of software components. In addition, the candidate will participate in requirements analysis of government Configuration Control Board (CCB) approved Deficiency Reports (DRs) and System Change Requests (SCRs; System Requirements Reviews; Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions; Peer Reviews; formal Systems Engineering Reviews; Test Readiness Reviews; and provide support for the maintenance of CFS documentation and software code baselines.

Specialized Knowledge:

• Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and PowerBuilder development on HP UX platforms.
• Specific development expertise in requirements analysis, design, coding, continuous Integration, and CV&I testing of CFS applications developed using HP UX, CITRIX, Oracle PL/SQL Developer, PowerBuilder, COBOL, Oracle Database, SSH Tectia, DI2E BitBucket, and Jenkins.
• Experience in software development using agile development methodologies.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field. (Relevant DoD or technical experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement).

Professional Certifications:

No certification is required.

Clearance:

Either currently hold or ability to acquire a National Agency Check.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of experience.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Must be able to work in a team environment with members that include personnel from other companies, Government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members.

Working conditions:

Onsite at Gunter AFS, Montgomery, AL

Client duty hours Monday through Friday.
