Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service Consultant
Location: Onsite- Dallas, TX location.
Employment Type: Renew for every 6 months
Overview: We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Field Service Consultant to design, configure, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service solutions that streamline scheduling, work order management, and mobile field operations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and customize D365 Field Service modules: work orders, resource scheduling optimization (RSO), asset management, inventory, and mobile app
• Integrate Field Service with D365 Sales/Customer Service, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and third-party systems
• Design scheduling board configurations and optimize technician routing/dispatch
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate into functional/technical specs
• Lead or support implementation phases: discovery, design, build, testing, UAT, deployment
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and enhancements
• Collaborate with developers on custom plugins, workflows, and Power Automate flows
• Document configurations, processes, and training materials
Required Qualifications:
• 3-7+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, including Field Service module
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
• Experience with Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO) and mobile field service app configuration
• Understanding of D365 CE architecture, security roles, and business process flows
• Familiarity with integration tools (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIs)
• Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., MB-240: Field Service, PL-200/PL-400)
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred:
• Experience in industries like utilities, manufacturing, telecom, or oil & gas (asset-heavy field operations)
• Background in ERP/CRM consulting or systems integration
• Agile/Scrum project experience
