Machinist 2nd shift

Do you enjoy working 2nd shift but want to have Friday night off? Come join our dynamic team as our new Production Electronic Technician! The hours are Monday – Thursday 2:45 pm to 12:00 am and Friday 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and we offer a competitive shift differential!

We are currently looking for a 2nd shift machinist who will be producing complex machined components in support of production, some engineering, R & D and customer prototyping of new products as well as for fabrication of production tooling and modifications or repair to existing tooling.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and surface grinders
• Inspecting completed material utilizing hand inspection equipment, such as vernier calipers, micrometer, optical comparator, and drop dial indicators.
• Operate machine tools with conversational programmable CNC controls such as the Prototrak control

Requirements:

• Must have attention to detail and strong personal initiative
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or two to five years related experience and/or education in Machining Technologies required
