Job Description

Radia (www.Radia.com), located in Plymouth, MN designs, builds, and markets industry-leading equipment including a line of paint mixers used worldwide and material handling equipment. Known for quality and durability, many of our paint mixers have been in the field for 20 or 30 years. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Mechanical Technical Support Specialist in a role focused on client service, telephone troubleshooting, technical support, training, and warranty dispatch.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answer customer phone calls and emails and provide accurate in resolving technical issues they encounter with their equipment
  • Research and review diagrams and schematics to recommend replacement parts needed for each unique customer application
  • Provide our customer service team with technical information and training
  • Dispatch service calls and communicate with Service Center Technicians' service call requirements – ensuring warranty work is completed correctly and professionally
  • Organize and deliver Service Center Technician certification training
  • Prepare quotations and enter customer orders when needed
  • Review and process warranty service invoices
  • Analyze service data and provide root cause information to engineering and product teams
  • Update owners' manuals and technical specs as needed

 

Requirements include:

Excellent candidates for this role are mechanically inclined, adept at reading product diagrams and specifications, and have an interest in assisting customers. We seek individuals with 3 – 5+ years of work experience in customer service, manufacturing, quality, parts, or other related fields. Completion of a technical certificate or program is desired, but not required. Additional skills include computer skills with an ERP or CRM, strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills, a high sense of urgency, the ability to work independently, and excellent organizational skills.
