Help Desk Technician (Tier I-III Support)

We are seeking a Helpdesk Technician (Level I Support) to join our clients team near Shady Grove, TN. This is a 4 -6 month contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of Help Desk or Desktop Support experience in Windows based environments. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated experience in basic network troubleshooting, active directory and MS Office product experience. Office 365 and Active Directory experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically.
- Recommend hardware and software improvements.
- Track customer issues and resolutions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (moving hardware, pc's, laptops, servers, racks, cabling, IT equipment in general).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- 4-5 + years of experience in Level 1 Support.
- Must have experience with Windows Desktop 7-10 and XP,
- Basic understanding of Windows Server 2008 -2012 R2
- Basic Network Troubleshooting (printers, laptops, desktops, workstations)
- Active Directory (adding/deleting users, account set up etc.)
- MS Office 365 experience highly desired.
- Ticketing Systems Experience (walk ups, remote support, phone support)
- Incident Response for Level 1 tickets.
- Positive and professional demeanor
Desired Experience (plus):
- Any experience working in a Manufacturing Plant or Shop Floor environment would be helpful.
