The Position:

We are seeking an IT Operations Manager to join our organization. The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the IT department. This includes providing technical support, ensuring the reliability and availability of enterprise systems, and maintaining system security. The IT Operations Manager will also work in close collaboration with other departments and teams to ensure that the IT infrastructure is able to meet the changing needs of the business..

Essential Responsibilities:

• Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software
• Develop and implement IT initiatives, projects, and solutions
• Manage IT budget and resources
• Resolve issues escalated by technicians and help desk staff - includes after hours
• Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and other external parties
• Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and IT trends
• Develop IT policies and practices
• Oversees SASE networking architecture and solutions
• Oversees on-prem Nutanix datacenter and backup system
• Mentor and train staff

• Performing other duties as needed. 

This job might be for you if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations management
• Proven experience in developing and implementing IT initiatives
• Experience with system installation, configuration and analysis
• Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
• Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Outstanding communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

• 3+yrs experience in Healthcare Information Technology
• Advanced networking certification (CCNA, etc.)
