Production Worker

The production Worker position Now Hiring! We have this open position in Long Beach, CA for a High-end manufacturing that produces and sells quality rubber compounds of synthetic compounds for tire, industrial, and transportation.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40+ per week M-F 4am -130pm 

We are currently looking for Production Operators with manufacturing experience as far as general laborers and I have the job description below:

• This position performs activities regarding compounding, weighing, mixing, processing of materials, and safe operation of equipment.
• Accurately weigh and mix raw materials as specified on the formulations or instructions.
• Inspect scales for accuracy and operate all equipment according to standard procedures.
• Accurately record all process conditions, weights or other pertinent data as required by procedures.
• Maintain efficient flow of machines to minimize production loss.
• Compounding/ weighing of chemicals (powders, pastes, bales, oils, etc)
• Safe operation of mixing equipment
• Safe operation of two-roll mills
• Safe operation of extrusion equipment
• Safe operation of calendar equipment
• Safe operation of cooling equipment
• Safe operation of scale equipment
• Packaging finished products according to customer specifications
• The associate must frequently lift up to 55 pounds, and move heavier loads with material handling equipment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to dust or airborne particles and chemicals.
