Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced contractor to join our team as a Microsoft Sentinel and O365 Security Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our clients to implement and optimize Microsoft Sentinel and O365 security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementation: Deploy and configure Microsoft Sentinel and O365 security solutions according to client requirements.

2. Customization: Customize security policies and rulesets in Microsoft Sentinel to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

3. Integration: Integrate Microsoft Sentinel with existing security tools and infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and data correlation.

4. Monitoring and Alerting: Set up proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.

5. Incident Response: Develop and execute incident response plans leveraging Microsoft Sentinel to contain and mitigate security breaches effectively.

6. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions, configurations, and processes for knowledge transfer and future reference.

7. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their security needs, provide expert advice, and ensure successful project delivery.

8. Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to client teams on using and managing Microsoft Sentinel and O365 security solutions effectively.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Sentinel and O365 security solutions.

- Deep understanding of cloud security principles, Azure Sentinel, and O365 security features.

- Strong knowledge of security operations, incident response, and threat hunting methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent are preferred.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
