Underground Construction Superintendent Split Shift

We are seeking an Underground Construction Superintendent to join our team! The Underground Construction Superintendent will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• On-site Supervision of onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Collaborate with safety and ensure safe workplace best practices

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills

• Ability to communicate and report effectively

• Proven experience as construction manager

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA

• Understanding of underground electrical construction

• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints

• Ability to work split shifts, including day and/or night work

• Aptitude in math

• Problem-solving abilities

• Unrestricted physical condition and stamina to be in the field actively supervising teams

• Able to track and produce As-Built drawings.

• OSHA 30 Hour Card

• Able to work Split Shift
