Currently looking for an Operator, Locator and ground hands for a Directional Drilling crew. Drill and equipment will be provided. Looking for experienced workers. We have work in hand for multiple markets in the midwest. Must be willing to travel. Weekly pay. Preferably I9 compliant.

Your expertise will help build the backbone of modern communication networks, ensuring reliable connectivity for communities and businesses. Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, trenchers, bucket trucks, and power tools safely and efficiently to dig trenches, install conduits, and lay fiber optic cables.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to underground network infrastructure projects.
  • Climb ladders or structures as needed for cable routing or equipment installation while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to prepare sites, install electrical components, and connect low voltage wiring for LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet, telephony systems, and IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct routine inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to network infrastructure, electrical systems, or construction challenges.

Skills

  • Proven experience in field service operations within construction or telecommunication environments.
  • Skilled in heavy equipment operation including bucket trucks, excavators, trenchers, and power tools.
  • Knowledge of fiber splicing techniques and cabling practices for telecommunication networks.
  • Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to underground construction projects.
