Position: Food Process Technician
Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania (or within 35 miles)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Industrial Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in the Food industry
- Experience with Statistical Process Controls (SPC), Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence
- Knowledge of Commercial Baking, Quality, and Packaging.
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor product specifications and control ingredients to ensure Quality
- Investigate and Solve technical issues related to recipe, ingredients, time, temperature, and humidity.
- Manage and Control: Engineering Change Notices, Product Deviations, Recipe Modifications, New Ingredients, and Supplier Qualifications.
- Support R&D Food Scientist with new product formulations and cost reduction efforts.
- Perform Pilot Test and Batch testing for New Product Development
