This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the trade from the ground up. You will work closely with experienced painters, absorbing knowledge and skills that will form the foundation of your painting career. Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, and masking.Learn to mix paints and match colors under the guidance of senior painters.Apply paints, stains, and finishes to a variety of surfaces with brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. What We're Looking For:No prior professional painting experience required, but a keen interest in learning the trade is essential.A willingness to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.Basic understanding of or willingness to learn about painting tools and materials. Painter 1 The Painter 1 role is an integral position within our painting hierarchy, tailored for individuals who preferably have at least six months of painting experience. This position is designed for those eager to develop their professional painting skills while contributing effectively to our project goals. As a Painter 1, you will support project execution under the guidance of Crew Leaders, focusing on delivering quality work within set timelines. Key Responsibilities:Execute painting tasks such as cutting & rolling drywall, painting basic trim (baseboards, window frames, fascia, flat doors, stucco trim), making surfaces paint-ready, and patching & texturing drywall and stucco.Learn and begin to apply spray painting techniques under supervision.Assist in the preparation and cleaning of painting equipment, including proficient cleaning of pumps and pressure washing of projects.Collaborate with the painting team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and meet the high standards set by the company.Follow safety protocols, including operating lift equipment and working safely off ladders. As a Painter 2, you will be responsible for executing advanced painting tasks with a high degree of skill and precision, supporting the project execution under the guidance of Crew Leaders. Key Responsibilities:Spray all interior and exterior surfaces in various weather conditions, showcasing adaptability and expertise in spray painting techniques.Cut and roll all interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish.Perform fine finish brush work on detailed trim surfaces such as crown molding, cabinets, French doors or windows, and staircases, requiring meticulous attention to detail.Begin to learn staining and clear coating a variety of wood surfaces, expanding your skill set in finishing techniques.Start learning about industrial coatings and floor coatings, broadening your knowledge in specialized areas of painting.Conduct pressure washing for entire projects, preparing surfaces thoroughly for painting.Patch and texture drywall and stucco at a good quality level, ensuring seamless integration with existing surfaces.
