Summary

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team!  Position involves resolving customer questions and offering solutions to drive company tile sales.

Job Description

• Meet with prospective customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Keep the Design Center showroom clean and organized. 
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and improve selling skills.
• Logging all customer showroom visits/appointments, contact information, and detailed customer preferences and notes in our portal
• Prospecting for new business with an emphasis on homeowners, custom builders, remodels, and Interior designers
• Keep the sales pipeline full by ensuring an active list of potential new leads is compiled and constantly updated through CRM.
• Making outside sales calls as needed and following up on leads and opportunities to grow and drive business
• Understanding the competition, our strengths, and market position and being able to relay the value proposition to customers
• Attend weekly Sales meetings and daily huddles to review leads, prospects, and required steps to close jobs.
• Provide excellent customer service while consistently meeting sales goals.
• Effectively communicate product knowledge to customers.
• Engage with customers to determine their needs according to taste, lifestyle, and investment range.
• Check and respond to emails, texts, calls, and web leads.
• Utilize our CRM from the lead to the installation.
• Prepare sales contracts and assist in collection when needed.
• Meet with prospective customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Responsible for addressing and resolving customer concerns in collaboration with other departments
• Represent Universal Stone professionally while interacting with our customers, vendors, and contractors through effective communication. timely arrival, and neat appearance.
• Prepare drawings for tile layouts and specifics for the job site

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and bid take offs from blue prints | builder supplied drawings
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Outstanding sales and negotiation skills

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in natural stone
• Previous experience in sales, customer service in Tile, Stone & Slabs
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment
• Intermediate computer proficiency
• Valid driver's license
