POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Innovation & Technology will spearhead the strategic technological vision, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader business objectives. This role demands a blend of innovative thinking and operational expertise, particularly in an entrepreneurial and corporate setting.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Forge and maintain client relationships in collaboration with Managing Partners.
• Lead and manage technical project teams, ensuring effective delivery of project demands and contract commitments.
• Introduce and implement innovative solutions, contributing to the company’s Innovation Lab Board.
• Oversee and manage the technology portfolio, including diverse programs.
• Lead strategic technology planning, aligning initiatives with business goals.
• Develop and manage the annual technology budget.
• Provide sponsorship and oversight for major IT projects.
• Establish and adjust technology policies and procedures.
• Ensure data security and compliance with a robust information security plan.
• Communicate technology strategies across all organization levels.
• Negotiate with Technology Partners for Enterprise Application implementations.
• Serve as a mentor and technical leader for the team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of IT experience, with significant leadership roles.
• Proficiency in budget management and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in agile team management and project delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership and consensus-building abilities.

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

• Graduate degree advantageous.
• Experience in an entrepreneurial/start-up environment is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Prolonged periods using a phone or other forms of business communication

Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
