Job Title: Controller (Head of Accounting & Finance)

Location:Phoenix, Arizona (on-site, South Phoenix)

Compensation:Up to $145K base + 15-20% bonus

The Kostelic Agency, in partnership with a renowned manufacturer in Phoenix, is thrilled to present an exciting job opportunity for a Controller.

We are on the lookout for a strategic and dynamic Financial Controller to join our client's teama professional who transcends the traditional role of an accountant to become a true financial leader. This position offers a unique chance not only to lead the finance department but also to guide the company towards its ambitious goal of boosting revenue to $50-60M over the next five years.

The ideal candidate thrives on making strategic decisions, excels in financial planning and analysis, and is skilled in budgeting and forecasting. This role goes beyond mere numbers; it's about being part of something greater. You will have the opportunity to restructure and lead a dedicated team, enhance profitability, and become a strategic partner throughout the business. The role is integral to an ERP migration in their 100K sq ft facility, and we are seeking someone with substantial manufacturing experience who can introduce standard costing and variance analysis into their operations.

As the Controller, you will be a vital member of the finance team, reporting directly to the President, who is keen to welcome someone capable of introducing innovative ideas and demonstrating unwavering confidence.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• A background predominantly in manufacturing, ideally with companies generating $30M-$100M in annual revenue.
• Leadership qualities that can drive cultural change and inspire the team.
• A focus on proactive problem-solving and solution-oriented approaches.
• The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
